As more couples want to include their dog in their wedding celebrations, we are increasingly being asked by our clients to provide a wedding day care service, or wedding dog chaperone.
Weddings are exciting, but stressful occasions and while many couples want their dog to be part of the service or feature in the portrait photos, they require a reliable, professional dog walker to look after their dog beforehand, while all the humans are busy rushing around getting ready, and often afterwards, during the wedding breakfast and reception.

We offer a truly bespoke service based around your need and cover wedding venues all across Northumberland. We can be around as much or as little as you require, depending on how involved you want your dog to be in your wedding.
From making sure your pooch is well exercised in the morning and then taking him away for a groom, before dressing him in a bowtie or jacket if required. We can also be on hand to chaperone him throughout the rest of the celebrations if required.
Additional dogs from the immediate wedding party can also be accommodated. However, a getting to know you session, before the big day, will be required for each dog not known to the Good Dog Walking team.
Your bespoke package includes mileage within a ten-mile radius of Morpeth. Travel to and from wedding venues outside this will be charged at 45p per mile on top of the cost of the package. A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure a wedding day care booking. The reminder of your balance is payable eight weeks prior to the wedding date.
